We are proud to offer this beautiful Omega Seamaster reference 125.003-62, a charming vintage example featuring a distinctive original waffle dial, elegant gold-coloured details and the classic proportions that define early Omega watches.
The original waffle dial is undoubtedly the highlight of this watch. It has developed a beautiful warm honey gold tone, somewhere between champagne and mustard, giving the watch a particularly rich vintage character. The finely textured waffle pattern creates additional depth, while the applied gold coloured hour markers, Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock and matching dauphine-style hands complement the dial beautifully. The subsidiary seconds display at 6 o’clock completes the elegant and well balanced design.
The stainless steel case remains in nice and honest vintage condition, showing normal scratches, marks and signs of wear consistent with its age. The watch retains its original Omega signed crown as well as the characteristic Seamaster caseback with the iconic seahorse medallion.
Powering the watch is the reliable Omega calibre 269 manual winding movement, with movement serial number 21.101.065.
