Omega 14389-1 Seamaster Sub-Second - Black Dial

We are proud to offer this beautiful Omega Seamaster reference 14389-1, a charming vintage example featuring a striking black dial with warm gold coloured details, subsidiary seconds and the timeless proportions associated with early Omega Seamaster watches.

The black dial is undoubtedly the highlight of this example. Its deep black finish is complemented by warm gold coloured Omega Seamaster lettering, applied hour markers and matching hands. The combination of Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock together with the subsidiary seconds display gives the watch a particularly attractive and well balanced vintage appearance.

The 35mm stainless steel case remains in nice and honest vintage condition. The watch has clearly been worn throughout its life and shows scratches, marks and other signs of use consistent with its age. These age related imperfections contribute to the authentic character of the watch and are reflected in the photographs.

The caseback features the characteristic Omega Seamaster Seahorse medallion, one of the most recognizable details of vintage Seamaster models.

Powering the watch is the Omega calibre 267 manual-winding movement, with movement serial number 16.614.455. The watch was serviced in 2025 and currently runs and functions well. Please note that no documentation from the service is available.

The watch is fitted with a beautiful replacement stainless steel bracelet with an Omega-signed clasp. Although the bracelet itself is not original to the watch, its design complements the vintage Seamaster particularly well.
