We are proud to offer this beautiful vintage Omega Automatic reference 2576-13 H, a charming early automatic Omega featuring a beautifully aged dial, elegant gold coloured details and the characteristic Omega calibre 342 bumper automatic movement.

The dial is undoubtedly the highlight of this example. Its original silver/champagne tone has developed a beautiful warm, almost pearlescent appearance, changing subtly depending on the light. In softer light the dial appears more silver grey, while under direct light it develops a warmer champagne tone. This natural ageing gives the watch a particularly attractive and individual vintage character.

The dial is complemented by elegant gold coloured hands and hour markers, with applied Arabic numerals at 12, 2, 4, 8 and 10 o’clock and subtle dot markers at the remaining hours. The subsidiary seconds display at 6 o’clock adds further depth and completes the characteristic mid century design.

The stainless steel case remains in nice and honest vintage condition, retaining attractive proportions and notably thick lugs. Naturally, the case shows scratches, marks and signs of wear consistent with its age, without taking away from its overall attractive appearance. The watch retains its original Omega signed crown and correct caseback.

Inside is the desirable Omega calibre 342 automatic bumper movement, movement number 12.510.009. The distinctive bumper winding system is an important part of Omega’s early automatic watchmaking and gives this piece additional vintage appeal.

The watch is fitted with a high quality replacement stainless steel beads of rice bracelet with an Omega signed clasp. Its classic design complements the proportions and character of the watch particularly well.
