We are pleased to offer this beautiful Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust reference 16014 from 1979, featuring an elegant silver sunburst dial, stunning naturally aged pumpkin tritium markers and a classic 18k white gold fluted bezel. A particularly charming vintage Datejust, presented in nice and honest condition with a lovely selection of original Rolex accessories.

The highlight of this example is undoubtedly its beautiful silver sunburst dial, featuring original tritium hour markers that have developed a stunning warm yellow to orange patina over the years. These distinctive pumpkin lume plots, combined with the original hands, give the watch a particularly attractive vintage character. The dial remains in nice overall condition.

The 36mm stainless steel Oyster case remains in very nice vintage condition, retaining beautifully thick and well defined lugs. The original 18k white gold fluted bezel is still nicely defined, with sharp edges and an attractive aged appearance around its outer edge. Overall, the watch presents very well, showing normal signs of wear consistent with its age.

The watch is fitted with its original stainless steel Rolex Jubilee bracelet, reference 62510H, featuring the correct 555 end links and a B coded clasp dating to 1977. The bracelet remains in nice condition with relatively little stretch for its age. It is also generously sized, making it suitable for larger wrists.

Inside is the reliable Rolex calibre 3035 automatic movement, featuring the convenient quickset date function. The watch is functioning properly.
