We are pleased to offer this 1962 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer reference 5500, an early and highly attractive vintage example featuring the iconic Explorer design language in a compact and elegant case.

The watch is fitted with a black Explorer-style dial showcasing the characteristic 3-6-9 layout, baton hour markers, and the correct “Swiss – T < 25” designation at 6 o’clock. The dial presents exceptionally clean and crisp, with strong contrast and excellent legibility. Its appearance is striking and well-balanced, making it a particularly appealing configuration on the wrist.
